今年以来，荆门锚定加快建设现代化产业体系的目标，不断推动工业经济提质增效，1—8月，全市规上工业增加值同比增长11.8%，高于全省平均水平4个百分点，居全省第4位。

重点企业稳盘，龙头带动强。1—8月，全市产值排前100的企业实现产值1838.99亿元，同比增长14.0%，高于全市工业平均水平5.6个百分点，有效发挥了稳定器的作用。尤其是亿纬、长城汽车等大型龙头企业加快产能释放，为全市工业经济增长注入动能。1—8月，亿纬公司（含亿纬动力、亿纬创能、亿纬新能源）工业总产值同比增长30.8%，长城汽车工业总产值同比增长23.2%。

新兴产业领跑，发展态势好。新能源新材料、汽车和装备智能制造、数智经济三大新兴产业持续突破，成为拉动工业经济增长的“主引擎”。1—8月，三大新兴产业产值同比增长22.9%，增速较全市工业平均水平高14.5个百分点，产业转型升级成效显著。与此同时，高技术制造业表现亮眼：1—8月高技术制造业增加值同比增长22.9%，增速较全市工业平均水平高11.1个百分点，其占全市规上工业增加值的比重达17.7%。

新增企业赋能，发展后劲足。1—8月，全市合计新入库规上工业企业66家，累计完成产值27.31亿元，同比增长261.7%。
