Dotz Nano (ASX:DTZ) filed a patent application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for its proprietary amine-modified polymer carbon dioxide capture sorbent technology, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The application covers the composition of matter as well as the manufacturing process of the technology, which is engineered for maximum carbon dioxide adsorption from flue gas and ambient air, the filing said.
The firm's shares jumped over 3% in recent trading on Monday.
