ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 报道，美国民主党人、前加州议会多数党领袖 Ian Calderon 宣布参选加州州长，承诺将比特币置于州政策核心。
周二，他在推特上称，加州是科技引领者，该回归初心，成为比特币领域领军者。Calderon 是数字资产坚定支持者，当日早些时候他直播确认，若当选会确保资产负债表持有比特币，支持州项目用加密货币支付。
另一段视频中，他对比现状称，年轻一代用新方式支付转账储蓄，执政者却用老观念解决新问题行不通。Calderon 竞选时，加州正通过 AB 1180 和 AB 1052 两个法案权衡渐进式加密货币立法，但二者均未授权加州直接购持比特币，与 Calderon 提案存在明显区别。
