Gyet (TYO:7603) began full-scale Bitcoin purchases after shareholders approved amendments to its articles of incorporation and entry into cryptocurrency-related business, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The clothing company bought 23.1807 BTC on Sept. 22 for 400.0 million yen at an average 17.3 million yen apiece. Its holdings now stand at 40.6882 BTC worth 700 million yen, with an average acquisition price of 17.2 million yen.
