The Council will inform and advise PlusAI on key safety issues, operational strategies and the regulatory landscape for autonomous trucks as the company advances towards the commercial launch of factory-built autonomous trucks, targeted for 2027.

The Council consists of transportation and logistics experts and government leaders, who have decades of experience guiding trucking policy, regulations and business development in the trucking sector in the US. Members have led the country's most influential and successful national motor carriers, federal and state transportation agencies, trade groups, regulatory and enforcement agencies in trucking policy, regulation, and operations. These include the American Trucking Associations (ATA), American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA), as well as a member of Congress.
Inaugural members of the Advisory Council include:
-- Andrew Boyle -- Former Co-President of Boyle Transportation and former
Chairman of the American Trucking Associations (ATA).Mr. Boyle is a
highly regarded trucking executive who led a defense & aerospace and life
sciences trucking firm until it was acquired by Andlauer Healthcare Group,
a Toronto Stock Exchange-listed company, in 2021. Known as a forward
thinking leader in the trucking sector, Boyle also served as chairman of
the board of directors of the American Trucking Associations (ATA) from
2023 to 2024. He currently serves as a board member for Birdseye Security
Solutions and the American Transportation Research Institute, and is on
the advisory council for Eastern Bank and Northwestern University's
Transportation Center.
-- Jeff Denham -- Former U.S. Congressman from California.Mr. Denham is a
former member of the US House of Representatives, where he represented
California's 10th and 19th districts. As a member of the Transportation
and Infrastructure Committee, he served in several leadership roles
including as a subcommittee chairman. During his time in Congress, Denham
helped draft several significant pieces of legislation that were
subsequently signed into law, including the 2015 Fixing America's Surface
Transportation $(FAST)$ Act, which included provisions related to the
testing and deployment of autonomous vehicles on public roads. He is a
former member of the California State Senate and the US Air Force, where
he served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Restore Hope. Denham is
currently a Senior Policy Advisor for Dentons and is the former owner of
Denham Services, a national logistics company.
-- Sue Lawless -- Former Acting Deputy Administrator, Chief Safety Officer
and Executive Director at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
(FMCSA).Ms. Lawless has over 25 years of experience guiding safety policy
and regulations in the commercial vehicle sector. As Acting Deputy
Administrator of FMCSA, she led initiatives to establish a federal
framework for commercial autonomous vehicle technology and the
modernization of FMCSA's registration system. Her previous roles at FMCSA
included Director of Motor Carrier Standards, where she set safety policy
for drivers and commercial vehicles, and as Assistant Chief Counsel for
Enforcement and Litigation, where she led the agency's enforcement and
compliance legal work.
-- Spencer R. Moore -- Former Commissioner of the Georgia Department of
Driver Services $(DDS)$ and former Chairman of the American Association of
Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA).As a result of his nearly 30-year
state government career, Mr. Moore is a nationally recognized expert in
driver standards and safety and has been a trusted transportation advisor
to multiple Governors of Georgia. He served as Commissioner of Georgia's
DDS from 2017- 2025, where he modernized customer service delivery and
launched Georgia's Digital Driver's License and the supporting mobile
app. Moore also served as Chair of the American Association of Motor
Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) International Board of Directors, which
sets national driver standards for both passenger and commercial
vehicles. During his tenure, he shaped policy on identity management,
transportation safety and preparing states to integrate autonomous
vehicles onto public roads. Moore is currently the Vice President of
Civil Identity for North America at Thales, within the Identity &

-- Dan Van Alstine -- Former President and Chief Operating Officer of Ruan
Transportation Management Systems and Chair of the American Trucking
Associations (ATA).Mr. Van Alstine has over 40 years of experience as a
motor carrier executive. He was most recently the President and Chief
Operating Officer of Ruan Transportation Management Systems, a
billion-dollar dedicated and third-party logistics provider. Before Ruan,
Van Alstine was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Schneider's
over-the-road van truckload group, as well as its dedicated services and
logistics businesses. Recognized for his deep knowledge of the trucking
sector and his people-centered leadership style, Van Alstine served as
Chair of the Board of Directors for ATA from 2022-2023, where he led the
