ChainCatcher 消息，香港保安局局长邓炳强在《施政报告》发布后表示，鉴于使用虚拟资产收取诈骗款项的案件增多，保安局已成立虚拟资产情报工作组，将与虚拟资产平台合作为诈骗案设立“止付机制”。邓炳强指出，过去诈骗案多通过银行汇款，现在越来越多通过虚拟资产平台获取诈骗款项。
新机制下，一旦发现诈骗案发生且资金仍在虚拟资产平台内，将如银行体系一样实施止付，阻止款项流出。此外，政府正研究修订性罪行相关法例，预计明年第一季向立法会提交建议。《施政报告》还提及扩展无人机巡逻范围，年底将在长洲和中区推行“无人机警政”自动巡航任务。
