China Glass Holdings Limited reported revenue of RMB2.15 billion for the first six months of 2025, down 20% from RMB2.68 billion in the same period of 2024. The decline in revenue was attributed to lower sales volume and a decrease in the average unit selling price. Within its glass products segment, revenue from clear glass fell 36% to RMB732.7 million, while revenue from energy-saving and new energy glass, used primarily in architectural and photovoltaic applications, decreased by 23%. Painted glass revenue rose 8% to RMB405.5 million, and coated glass revenue increased 1% to RMB434.2 million. The company noted that products with relatively low gross profit margins, such as ordinary architectural and photovoltaic glass, experienced a decline in sales, which partially offset the downward trend in overall profitability. China Glass Holdings continues to focus on mass production and market promotion of technologically innovative products, including specialty products like CNG Grey and CNG Blue. The latter, a high-performance Low-E energy-saving glass, was recognized as a model case by the industry association. The company reported ongoing efforts to optimize its product mix and enhance performance assessment mechanisms to drive growth and improve alignment with strategic objectives.
