EuroSports Global's (SGX:5G1) subsidiary, Scorpio Electric, signed a term sheet with an unnamed Malaysian investor for a potential investment, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the company surged over 26% in Thursday trading.
The proposed transaction will involve cash investment by the investor, asset contribution and issuance of new shares by Scorpio to the investor.
The investment will help the company gain access to opportunities in Malaysia, the ASEAN region and other international markets.
