广州汽车集团股份有限公司董事长冯兴亚在2025年《财富》世界500强峰会上表示，十年后，全球前十大汽车厂家中至少会有三家，甚至三到五家是中国企业。因为未来的产业发展模式一定是朝着新能源化、低碳化、绿色化方向发展，而中国在这个节奏上走在前列，引领了绿色低碳化潮流。
此外他还认为，汽车未来一定是智能化发展，中国目前至少处于行业先进水平，而且中国人对智能化的追求是全球最高、最热衷的。所以在汽车智能化浪潮中，中国会保持领先优势。
冯兴亚指出，全球化是广汽一个新的重要任务，它不是一场战役，而是一场战争。他认为，现在面临的新机遇点，就是从整车出口转向本地化生产。“我们在全球已经建了五个散件组装工厂，已经有五家了，明年可能有十家工厂。全球化是我们的必然趋势，也是我们目前的工作重点。”
