Adyen NV has announced a new partnership with Xscape Theatres to provide modern payment solutions across the cinema chain's six U.S. locations. The collaboration aims to offer a seamless payment experience for moviegoers, particularly targeting younger, digital-savvy audiences who make up nearly half of Xscape's customer base. As part of the agreement, Xscape will implement a range of alternative payment methods, including Intelligent Payment Routing, CashApp Pay, and Klarna. Additionally, Xscape will adopt Adyen Giving, enabling customers to make donations to charities such as the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation and Variety - The Children's Charity during checkout. The initiative is part of Xscape's broader strategy to enhance customer experience and adapt to evolving consumer expectations.
