新华财经洛杉矶9月26日电（记者黄恒）美国咖啡连锁企业星巴克25日宣布，该公司将在美国和加拿大关闭数百家门店，并裁员900人左右。
根据星巴克宣布的最新计划，该公司美国和加拿大门店总数将减少1%，预计到本财年末，该公司在两国的门店总数将接近1.83万家。之后，该公司计划投资开设新店，并对超过1000家门店进行装修改造。
最新关店和裁员计划是星巴克为重振业绩而制定的新战略规划的一部分。截至目前，星巴克销售额已连续6个季度下滑。据美媒报道，此次星巴克关店将主要影响那些仅提供外卖服务的门店，因为靠外卖扩张客户群的增长模式已经过时，现在需要提供舒适的堂食服务以留住客户。
但是，投资者对星巴克的最新计划反应平淡。分析人士认为，这是因为“星巴克的价格在当前竞争和经济环境下已经过高”的问题并未得到解决，其业务转型“还有很长的路要走”。
