BlockBeats 消息，9 月 25 日，俄亥俄州存款委员会（Ohio State Board of Deposit）已一致批准选择一家供应商来处理加密货币支付（包括比特币），用于支付州政府费用和服务。这是该州将加密货币纳入公共财政体系的最新举措。
“我的办公室每年要处理数十万笔交易，我要称赞委员会采取大胆行动，使我们在新兴数字经济中走在前列。”俄亥俄州务卿 Frank LaRose 周三在推特上写道。此次批准为自今年 4 月以来的数月努力画上句号。当时，LaRose 与州财政部长 Robert Sprague 推动委员会授权接受加密支付。提案已在 5 月一致通过，但需要最终供应商批准，这一关键环节于周三完成。
