智通财经APP获悉，百思买(BBY.US)在全公司范围内裁员，其中包括缩减Geek Squad团队的人数。该团队负责在店内及客户家中为客户提供技术支持和维修服务。
百思买发言人表示，这家消费电子产品零售商正在裁减其客户服务和上门服务团队的员工，只有极少数员工受到影响。
根据百思买的最新年度报告，其员工总数超过8万人。百思买的客户服务团队曾帮助该公司在竞争激烈的电子产品领域中脱颖而出。
此次裁员之际，百思买受到关税冲击，且难以重现疫情时期的强劲销售增长势头。截至周三收盘，该公司股价今年迄今已下跌14% 。
百思买发言人补充道，受此次重组影响的符合条件的员工将获得遣散费。
去年，百思买在重组期间解雇了Geek Squad代理，首席执行官Corie Barry当时表示，重组的部分目的是将资源重新分配到人工智能等领域。
百思买8月份报告称，第二季度的重组费用为1.14 亿美元。
