智通财经APP讯，智云国际控股(08521)发布公告，作为云计算及互联网流量服务业务发展的一部分，公司全资附属公司智云旷士有限公司已在香港一家受监管的虚拟资产交易平台服务供应商完成比特币帐户的开立。为此，该附属公司亦已透过集团内部资源购入超过一枚比特币，平均价格为美元约11.8万(相当于港币约91.8万)。由于购买比特币的所有适用百分比率均低于5%，因此根据香港联合交易所有限公司GEM证券上市规则第19章，该购买不构成任何须予公布的交易。
于上述购买之前，董事会已成立投资委员会，旨在提升营运效率，加强投资决策和风险管理流程，尤其考虑到集团对加密货币及相关技术的战略重点。投资委员会的任务是审查并向董事会提出涉及虚拟资产的适当交易以及管理这些资产的策略，以最大程度地降低持有相关虚拟资产的潜在风险。此外，投资委员会还将评估、批准并就集团管理团队提出的各种风险提出建议。
