消息面上，据澎湃新闻，正在上海举行的第二十五届中国国际工业博览会上，注册资本150亿元、正式挂牌成立仅两个多月的中国聚变公司首次公开亮相，展示其技术路线及业务布局。报道称，多位国内可控核聚变领域人士证实，中国聚变公司将在上海新建一个聚变实验装置，用以验证其在上海研制的高温超导磁体，该装置暂命名为“中国环流四号（HL-4）”。
光大证券此前研报指出，重点关注上海电气在机器人、核聚变等新兴产业的突破进展。在核聚变领域，公司成功交付全球首台ITER项目磁体冷态测试杜瓦，后续还将交付国家重大科技基础设施CRAFT项目、紧凑型聚变实验装置BEST项目等多个主机系统核心部件。在燃气轮机领域，公司500MW级全氢冷发电机顺利通过上海市电机工程学会专家团队的技术评价，为我国大容量清洁气电产业的发展提供了关键装备支撑。
