Lithium Americas (LAC) advanced by 20.6% in premarket activity, after a 95.8% rise from Wednesday's session. Lithium Americas said it is in discussions with the US Department of Energy and General Motors (GM) over its Thacker Pass lithium joint venture project, including financing for the project.

Opendoor Technologies (OPEN) rose by 7.5% pre-bell, following a 16.2% increase from the previous session. The stock move follows Jane Street Group's disclosure in a filing that it owns about a 5.9% stake in the company.

Amazon.com (AMZN) was up 0.2% premarket, reversing a 0.2% decline from Wednesday's session.

Energy Fuels (UUUU) was 3.1% lower in pre-bell activity, swinging from a 1.2% increase from the previous session.

Micron Technology (MU) fell by 1.2% hours before market open, after closing Wednesday with a 2.8% fall.

Nvidia (NVDA) was down 0.5% premarket, following a 0.8% fall from the previous session.

Tesla (TSLA) declined by 0.5% in pre-bell hours, swinging from a 4% increase at Wednesday's close.
