据微信公众号“广西日报”消息，9月29日，中共广西壮族自治区委员会组织部发布公告：
日前，广西壮族自治区党委决定：方毅同志任中共来宾市委委员、常委、书记。
方毅资料图公开资料显示，方毅，男，汉族，1972年1月生，在职研究生，中共党员。
方毅长期在杭州工作，曾任桐庐县委副书记、县长，2018年11月任桐庐县委书记。此后，方毅曾任浙江省委副秘书长、省委办公厅副主任。
2023年8月，方毅出任杭州市委常委、市政府党组成员，同年11月任杭州市副市长，直到此番跨省份调任。
据来宾市政府网站介绍，2002年12月28日，经国务院批准，来宾市正式成立。来宾市位居广西中部，行政区域总面积1.34万平方千米。2024年，来宾市辖1区4县代管1市，派出机构为来华管理区（来宾高新区）、来宾市三江口新区。全市设21个乡、45个镇、4个街道办事处；712个村委会，103个居委会。
来宾市是多民族聚居区，有壮、汉、瑶、苗、侗、仫佬等39个民族，其中，壮族、汉族、瑶族是世居民族。2024年末全市户籍总人口265.71万人。2024年，全市生产总值（GDP）1030.42亿元，按不变价格计算，比上年增长5.1%。
