Thakral (SGX:AWI) completed the divestment of the Yotsubashi Nakano Building in Osaka, Japan, for 5.3 billion yen, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The divestment represented a net attributable gain of SG$2 million and is part of the company's efforts to unlock long-term value and recycle capital.
Proceeds from the divestment will be used to boost working capital and fund earnings-enhancing opportunities.
