Match Group Boosts New Production Innovation at Tinder -- Market Talk

1250 ET - Match Group is introducing and testing new features for its Tinder dating app at a faster clip, Morgan Stanley analysts say in a note after meeting with management. Match Group took time to restructure its Tinder team, but now with a new CEO and CTO in place, the company says it may have shipped more new products in the past two months than over the prior two years, according to the analysts. For some low risk improvements, like moving biographical information to the first slide of users' profiles, Tinder has cut down on testing time from a number of months to weeks, the analysts say. "We come away cautiously optimistic as we believe the accelerated velocity maximizes the chance of success," they say, noting the turnaround timeline still remains unclear, though.
