Tata Power's (NSE:TATAPOWER, BOM:500400) step-down subsidiary Tata Power EV Charging Solutions and VE Commercial Vehicles have signed a memorandum of understanding to accelerate adoption of electric commercial vehicles, according to a Monday filing on Indian bourses.

The collaboration will focus on the Eicher Pro X range of small commercial trucks, the filing said.

The partnership will combine Tata Power's EV charging network and expertise with VECV's energy efficiency solutions to optimize electric truck operations, support fleet operators, and address challenges like range anxiety and charging availability, it added.

The collaboration will also explore deployment of other models in Eicher's EV portfolio to advance India's commercial electric mobility ecosystem.
