Omnicom Group (OMC) and Interpublic Group (IPG) said late Friday the US Federal Trade Commission finalized its agreement with the companies on a "mutually acceptable" consent order.
The agreement "reaffirms our commitment to provide neutral and unbiased advice to clients in making decisions about their brand media placements," Omnicom Chief Executive John Wren said.
In June, Omnicom said the FTC completed its antitrust review of the company's proposed acquisition of Interpublic and approved a consent order agreed upon by both companies.
