Acrophtye Hospitality Trust Expects to Spend $100 Million for Hotel Renovations; Shares Down 5%

Acrophyte Hospitality Trust (SGX:XZL) is expecting capital expenditures of about $100 million from 2025 till 2027 on the renovations of 26 of its hotels, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the trust were down over 5% in Monday trading.
The renovations include ongoing maintenance and equipment replacement needs based on the current condition of the hotels.
The managers are considering various options to meet capital needs such as debt fundraising, equity fundraising and recalibration of portfolio, along with divestment of selected assets.
