美国卫生与公众服务部（HHS）周一表示将哈佛大学移交进行行政停权及除名程序。此举将使该校无法与任何政府机构签订合同，也无法获得任何联邦资金，包括科研拨款和学生资助。

　　如果除名程序成功，哈佛将失去一项关键资金来源，这将在特朗普政府冻结逾26亿美元联邦资金之后，对该校造成新的财政打击。哈佛有20天时间可向HHS的行政法官申请听证，以对此决定提出上诉。

　　这是特朗普政府首次威胁要全面切断对哈佛的联邦资金支持，标志着在双方和解谈判据称陷入停滞之际，这场对抗进一步升级。

　　哈佛大学没有立即回应置评请求。
