ShipMatrix表示,假期快递量的预期增长不会平均分布在各公司之间。这可能意味着一些快递公司在所谓的“高峰附加费”上受到更多客户的抵制,这有助于保护快递公司的利润免受假日旺季成本上升的影响。
2025年上半年,亚马逊物流部门的美国国内包裹总量增长了6.1%,联邦快递增长了5%。据ShipMatrix称,正在削减亚马逊包裹数量的UPS的业务量下降了5.4%,而美国邮政服务(USPS)的业务量下降了6.7%。
报告称,UPS和美国邮政的业务量下降的总和超过了亚马逊和联邦快递的增长,而额外的1.02亿件包裹可能是由沃尔玛等大型零售商的私人快递网络或其他运营商处理的。
如果目前的趋势延续到假日季节,“我们预计联邦快递和亚马逊将增长5%至8%,而UPS和美国邮政将持平,”ShipMatrix补充说。
