美国电商巨头亚马逊正将其食品杂货战略重心放在全食超市（Whole Foods）与配送服务上，为此，该公司将额外关闭美国加利福尼亚州南部的4家Fresh超市。

　　亚马逊证实，关闭工作将在未来几周内完成。此前数月，该公司已关闭了美国另外4家门店，分别位于华盛顿州、弗吉尼亚州、纽约州以及洛杉矶郊区。

　　亚马逊发言人Griffin Buch在一份声明中表示：“不同门店的运营表现存在差异，经过评估后，我们决定关闭这些Amazon Fresh门店。我们正与受影响的员工紧密合作，尽可能帮助他们在亚马逊内部找到新的岗位。”

　　内部消息显示，在加州拉文市的一家Fresh超市，员工已于周三接到通知参加全员会议。一位因细节保密而要求匿名的知情人士透露，员工在会议上得知该店将于11月中旬关闭，且将获得离职补偿金。

　　此次计划关闭的另外3家门店分别位于米申维耶霍市、拉哈布拉市和惠蒂尔市。

　　上周，亚马逊曾宣布，计划关闭英国的14家Fresh食品杂货店，并将当地另外5家Fresh门店改造为全食超市。

　　亚马逊表示，公司会定期评估旗下门店组合，评估结果可能导致部分门店的开设、重新营业、搬迁或关闭。

　　目前在美国，该公司仍有60多家Fresh超市在营。去年，亚马逊已从Fresh超市中移除了“即走即付”（Just Walk Out）无收银员技术，同时也在缩减其Go系列无收银员便利店的规模。
