Kodiak AI Shares Gain After Soros Fund Mgmt Discloses Passive Stake

Shares of Kodiak AI rose after Soros Fund Management disclosed a 5.7% passive stake in the autonomous truck developer.

Its stock rose 8.9% to $5.96 in premarket trading Thursday.

The Securities and Exchange Commission filing shows the fund's stake is for 9.97 million shares, with the percentage calculated on 174.96 million shares outstanding.

The disclosure comes days after Kodiak completed its merger with Ares Acquisition, with its stock trading on Nasdaq.
