ArcelorMittal, Rock Tech Agree to Explore Industrial Synergies in Germany

ArcelorMittal's (MT) Eisenhuttenstadt steel plant and Rock Tech Lithium unit Rock Tech Guben signed a letter of intent to cooperate on industrial development in East Brandenburg, Rock Tech said Thursday.

The company said the agreement covers potential collaboration on workforce training and qualification, including joint training models and certification programs, as well as laboratory services and quality assurance.

They are also reviewing further areas such as recycling, service networking, and rail logistics at Rock Tech's Guben site, according to Rock Tech.
