印度经济时报援引未具名知情人士的话报道称，三菱日联金融集团正在就以约26亿美元收购Shriram Finance 20%的股份进行深入谈判。双方就谈判签署了排他性协议。三菱日联金融集团的投资将通过优先配股进行一级发行，不会涉及任何股票二次销售。随着时间推移，MUFG并不反对增持Shriram Finance的股份甚至是控股权。MUFG和Shriram Finance没有回复询问。
