Adidas Could Upgrade Guidance After Another Positive Quarter -- Market Talk

1044 GMT - Adidas looks set to raise its outlook for this year after another good quarter, Deutsche Bank analysts write in a research note. The analysts expect the German sporting-goods company to report third-quarter sales of 6.65 billion euros, around 11% higher on-year. DB also expects the operating profit guidance range to be increased to between 1.8 billion euros and around 2 billion euros. Adidas currently anticipates operating profit in a range of 1.7 billion euros and 1.8 billion euros. "Operationally, Adidas has been excellent since the arrival of Bjorn Gulden almost 3 years ago," the analysts say. Shares are up 1.1% at 188.50 euros. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
