Sector Update: Tech Stocks Rise Pre-Bell Thursday

Technology stocks were rising pre-bell Thursday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.8% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 1.3% higher.

Intel (INTC) is in early-stage discussions to add Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as a foundry customer, Semafor reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. Advanced Micro Devices shares were up more than 3% premarket.

Fair Isaac (FICO) shares were up more than 15% after the company said it launched a new direct license program that allows tri-merge resellers to calculate and distribute FICO Scores directly to customers.

TD Synnex (SNX) said it completed the acquisition of shares of Japanese information technology company Gateway Computer. TD Synnex shares were 0.9% higher premarket.
