私募市场巨头们寄望于下一轮增长热潮能够在这个人满为患的行业去芜存菁。

　　KKR & Co．合伙人Alisa Wood周三在伦敦举行的“女性、金钱与权力”活动上表示，美国的私募股权基金有19，000家。麦当劳则有14，000家。私募股权基金数量怎么会比麦当劳还多？这是疯了，对吧？ 

　　经过数十年的快速增长后，利率攀升让收购公司难以脱手投资、找到新的超额收益机会并向投资者返回现金。势头放缓下，驱动另类资产市场发展的投资、收益和再投资周期可能会被打乱脚步。

　　私募股权公司正在向AI（尤其是资料中心）领域筹集和部署数十亿美元的资金，希望这个新兴资产类别能为这个陷入困境的产业带来下一轮增长。他们通过股权和房地产业务收购AI公司和资料中心提供商，并抵押这些资产取得贷款。

　　Brookfield Asset Management首席财务官Hadley Peer Marshall表示，要为AI的快速发展提供资金，大约需要投资7万亿美元。她的公司是众多寻求在该技术发展中发挥核心作用的大型私人资本公司之一。

　　它的竞争对手黑石集团的全球房地产联席主管Kathleen McCarthy-Baldwin表示，由于计算需求的激增，黑石非常热衷于资料中心。她说，她的公司认为该行业不存在泡沫。
