当地时间10月3日，美国联邦公务员工会（AFGE）发表声明表示，该工会已向法院提起诉讼，指控特朗普政府在政府“关门”期间，未经员工同意便修改教育部休假员工的自动回复邮件，在邮件内容中将政府“关门”责任归咎于参议院民主党。

　　诉讼称，政府通过操控员工的邮件通信，迫使他们“重复本不愿说出的党派言论”。这些自动回复邮件还被设计成以第一人称方式呈现，使收件人误以为邮件内容代表休假员工本人意愿。美国联邦公务员工会表示，政府此举侵犯了员工根据美国宪法第一修正案享有的言论自由权利。

　　据悉，部分员工此前因教育部大规模裁员计划已被安排行政休假，其余员工在政府10月1日“关门”后被休假。（央视记者 吴汉婴）
