芝加哥联储行长Austan Goolsbee表示，美国政府关门期间缺乏官方数据，将使央行官员更难判断经济形势。

　　Goolsbee重申了对于近期服务业通胀回升的担忧，并称这可能意味着在受关税影响最小的经济领域，物价压力居高不下。他说，虽然劳动力市场有不少非政府数据来源，但通胀统计数据并非如此。

　　Goolsbee表示，美联储正进入一个需要判定当前是否处于过渡阶段的时期，如果官方数据出现真空，判断的难度就会大得多。

　　负责收集和发布经济数据的政府机构在周三开始的停摆期间将停止发布统计数据。劳工统计局定于10月15日公布月度消费者价格，美联储下一次政策会议将于10月28日至29日召开。
