马来西亚缺乏开采和加工稀土的技术
路透吉隆坡/北京10月2日 - 熟悉内情的人士透露，中国和马来西亚正在就稀土加工项目进行早期谈判，主权财富基金马来西亚国库控股公司（Khazanah Nasional）很可能与一家中国国企合作，在马来西亚建设一家提炼厂。
中国是世界上最大的稀土供应国和提炼国，一直禁止出口稀土加工技术，以保护其在稀土行业的主导地位。
马来西亚的两位知情人士说，中国政府准备用自己的技术换取马来西亚尚未开发的稀土储备，以限制澳洲竞争对手莱纳斯(Lynas Rare Earths)LYC.AX的竞争，莱纳斯在马国中部彭亨州拥有一家加工厂。(完)
