近期，中国移动披露知识产权领域最新成果：累计有效专利总量达1.8万项，连续三年位居全球运营商第一，获得36项中国专利奖，覆盖4G、5G、大数据等领域，实现“量质齐升”。
移动通信产业从跟随到引领实现跨越式发展，专利发挥了至关重要的作用。在4G时期，中国移动建立了专利与标准联动机制，以专利池为纽带融入国际合作，坚持TD-LTE与FDD-LTE捆绑许可，发起并参与全球LTE专利池建设，推动我国自主创新的4G（TD-LTE）产业国际化。
同时，中国移动还主动引导国际智能终端专利池许可费率下调，使中国市场再享减半优惠，让千家万户使用上了4G千元机。截至目前，中国移动已向21国140余家海外企业实施专利许可，成为少数向海外一流企业收取专利费的中央企业。
5G时期，中国移动创新成果尤为突出：2000余项5G授权专利，破解大规模组网下的时延、覆盖、可靠性等难题，支撑我国建成全球最早、规模最大的5G独立组网网络，为5G赋能千行百业、推动各行业数字化转型奠定基础，激发垂直行业新动能。
据了解，下一步，中国移动将持续加大研发投入、深化专利布局，推动更多专利技术转化为产业动能与市场优势，为行业发展添砖加瓦。
