** Shares of Dongfeng Motor Co Ltd 0489.HK rise 6.1% to HK$9.69, their highest level and biggest one-day pct rise since August 25
** Stock on course for third straight session of gains; top pct gainer on Hang Seng Automobile Index .HSAMI, which falls 2.4%
** The Chinese auto maker says an application of listing for its premium EV unit VOYAH was submitted to the Hong Kong stock exchange on October 2
** YTD, stock is up 154.8%, the benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI is up 34.8%
