Shares of Capstone Copper (ASX:CSC) rose past 2% and Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) rose 1% in recent Friday trade, driven by a sharp surge in copper prices due to supply disruptions.
Copper prices climbed 1.1% to settle at $10,490.5 a ton on the London Metal Exchange, after climbing to $10,500, its highest level in over a year.
