Daehan Shipbuilding (KRX:439260) said it received a construction order for a 157,000 deadweight ton (DWT) oil carrier from an Oceania-based shipowner, according to a Wednesday filing on the Korea Stock Exchange.
The contract is valued at 119.2 billion won, representing 11.1% of the company's 2024 revenue of 1.075 trillion won. Construction is scheduled to run from Sept. 30, 2025, to Oct. 31, 2027, with payments tied to project progress and an advance deposit.
