0952 GMT - European defense stocks rise in Thursday morning trade as European leaders gather in Copenhagen to discuss security cooperation, following suspected Russian drone incursions across NATO airspace. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen calls for action to deter Russia, not just words. "It must be clear to everyone now, Russia will not stop until they are forced to do so," she says, opening the proceedings. Thales is up 4.1%, Indra Sistemas gains 3.2%, Renk Group advances 3.1%, Hensoldt grows 2.3%, Safran rises 1.8%, Dassault Aviation gains 1.75%, Leonardo increases 1.5%, BAE Systems moves up 1.1%, and Rheinmetall edges up 1%.
