Toyota Motor (TM) Chairman Akio Toyoda's proposal to buy out Toyota Industries has been delayed amid a longer-than-expected approval process under antitrust laws in various countries, Bloomberg News reported, citing Toyota Industries. Toyota Motor stock was up more than 2% pre-bell.
Kroger (KR) shares were 0.4% lower after the company said it has voluntarily recalled basil pesto bowtie salad and smoked mozzarella penne salad sold across various US states, citing a possible health risk.
