Maxis (KLSE:MAXIS) accepted the offer from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission for a 12-year spectrum assignment of 2x10 megahertz (MHz) in the 2100 MHz band, according to a Monday Malaysian bourse filing.
Shares slid 1% in Tuesday's late morning trade.
According to earlier filings, the company said it will make an upfront payment of 100 million ringgit, and cumulative annual payments totaling 300 million ringgit over the assignment period.
