Dow Jones
Oct 07

0353 GMT - Pavilion Real Estate Investment Trust's 3Q core net profit is expected to improve, supported by rising tourist arrivals and contributions from its newly acquired hotel assets, CIMB Securities analysts Lim Yue Jia and Ivy Ng Lee Fang say in a note. Occupancy at Pavilion Bukit Jalil mall is projected to increase to about 93% by end-2025, helped by new tenant openings ahead of the festive season, they say. They also expect full-quarter earnings from its hotel assets, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur and Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur, to drive on-quarter and on-year profit growth. CIMB resumes coverage on Pavilion REIT with a buy rating and target price of MYR2.04. Shares are 1.6% lower at MYR1.89. (yingxian.wong@wsj.com)
