China Water Affairs Group Ltd. has announced the continuation of construction services as part of its ongoing business operations. According to the company's board, the provision of these services is in the ordinary and usual course of business and aligns with the Group's principal activities, which include city water supply, pipeline direct drinking water supply, and environmental protection services such as sewage treatment, drainage operations, and solid waste management. The transactions, conducted under an agreement with Jiangxi Silver Dragon, have become continuing connected transactions in accordance with Rule 14A.60(1) of the Hong Kong Listing Rules. The board, including independent non-executive directors, considers the terms of the agreement to be fair and reasonable, and in the interests of the company and its shareholders as a whole.
