Black Canyon Finds High-Grade Manganese in Western Australia Project, Shares Up 12%

Black Canyon (ASX:BCA) found shallow, thick, high-grade manganese mineralization during a recent drilling at its Wandanya project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to seven meters at 37.7% manganese from the surface, including three meters at 42.6% manganese from 4 meters.

The company said that assays from the remaining 92 drill holes targeting high-grade iron and manganese are expected to be received through October to early November.

The company expects a diamond drill program for the metallurgical testwork sample to commence this quarter.

The company's shares rose 12% in recent Wednesday trade.
