Shares of Orion Minerals Fall After Raising Additional Capital

Shares of Orion Minerals (ASX:ORN) fell past 4% in recent Monday trade after it said in a late Friday filing that it raised additional capital of AU$8.6 million, from the issue of about 574 million shares at AU$0.015 per share, to sophisticated and professional investors.

The company said on Sept. 30 that it will raise about AU$7.7 million via the issue of shares at the same price to professional investors and the company's Chairman, Denis Waddell.
