U.S. Treasury Yields Erode; Auction, FOMC Minutes Awaited -- Market Talk

0606 GMT - U.S. Treasury yields edge lower by up to 0.4 basis points in Asian trade, extending the previous day's declining trend, according to Tradeweb data, while the U.S. government shutdown continues. The minutes of the September FOMC meeting are due for release, while a $39 billion auction of 10-year Treasury notes is also due. The two-, 10- and 30-year Treasury yields all fall by 0.4 basis points to 3.567%, 4.122% and 4.721%, respectively, Tradeweb data show. (emese.bartha@wsj.com)
