Macro Metals (ASX:M4M) said the remaining permitting plan, implemented for a two-million-tonnes-per-annum to a four-million-tonnes-per-annum operation, was confirmed for the Extension iron ore project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Macro Mining Services and head contractor, REGROUP, engaged an external civil engineering company to finalize a corridor within which to construct the haul road from the project to the Great Northern Highway to transport iron ore products.

Macro Mining Services will complete a feasibility study to allow all relevant stakeholders to make a final investment decision.
