Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) found high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Ferké Gold Project's Ouarigue prospect in the Ivory Coast, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 55 meters at 2.85 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 463 meters, including 6 meters at 11.1 g/t gold.
The company said the planned program, which started in April and was initially a 6,000-meter campaign, has now increased to more than 22,000 meters of drilling following success in extension drilling
The company expects diamond drilling to be completed in October, followed by an additional 6,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling planned to commence in November to follow up success in recent reconnaissance drill programs.
