智通财经APP获悉，大摩发布研报称，香港8月零售销售同比增长3.8%至303亿港元，连续第四个月录得增长，优于市场预期的2%及该行预期的1%增长。
报告指出，今年首八个月零售销售同比跌幅持续收窄至1.9%，较首七个月的2.6%跌幅有所改善。该行认为，全年零售销售有望回复至持平水平，零售销售改善主要受惠于访港旅客人数增加，其中中国内地及长途旅客分别同比增长15%及23%，加上月内举办多项大型活动带动。
大摩表示，奢侈品销售表现强劲，相信是由于旅客消费增加及低基数效应所致，不过必需品销售表现仍然疲弱。该行认为，九龙仓置业(01997)及希慎兴业(00014)股价或会因此造好，但租金下调压力及内地免税店购物增加仍是隐忧。至于新世界发展(00017)有望在尖沙咀区抢占更多市场份额。
