St George Mining Enters MoU to Build Pilot Plant in Brazil; Shares Climb 4%

St George Mining (ASX:SGQ) entered a memorandum of understanding with the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (Cefet) to build a pilot plant to study minerals produced at the company's Araxa project in Brazil, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Government-funded Cefet will provide space for the pilot plant at its campus, close to the company's project, without rental charges to the company, the filing said.
Shares of the company rose past 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
